ROSS BURNS

Director & Head Basketball Trainer

  • Ross has worked with over 200 NBA players across the span of almost 20 years as a professional basketball trainer. Through the Pro Hoops Pre-NBA Draft Training Combine, he has trained seven lottery picks, including Brandon Ingram (New Orleans Pelicans), Jamal Murray (Denver Nuggets), and Tyler Herro (Miami Heat).

    Born and raised in Greenfield, MA, Ross played for legendary coach John Calipari at the University of Massachusetts and was a member of the 1995-96 Final Four team. He earned his master’s degree in Business Administration from Wagner College while serving as an assistant coach for the men’s basketball team. He then went on to coach at Youngstown State University and Fordham University.

    His most extensive work has been with Joe Harris (Brooklyn Nets) and recently-retired NBA players JJ Redick and Joakim Noah. Ross oversees all aspects of the Pro Hoops training program.

LUKE BOLSTER

Assistant Director & Basketball Trainer

  • After training with Pro Hoops for over ten years as a player, Luke has joined the team as a professional basketball trainer following the conclusion of his collegiate playing career. He played for five seasons at Columbia University under Jim Engles and served as a team captain for the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons.

    Luke earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in American Studies from Columbia while making eight appearances on the dean’s list as an undergrad.

    Born and raised in Manhattan, NYC, Luke attended the Trinity School, where he was a four-year starter and scored over 1,000 points. He was named first team all-conference as a junior and senior and earned first team all-state for B-division high schools as a senior.

WILL ENGELHARDT

Basketball Trainer

  • Will has joined the Pro Hoops team as a professional basketball trainer following the conclusion of his collegiate playing career. He began his college career at Niagara University in 2019 before transferring to St. Lawrence University in 2021 for his final two seasons.

    After graduating in May of 2023, Will shifted his focus from playing to coaching, beginning his work as a trainer, specializing in helping players improve their shooting. Since then he has experience working with players from the highest levels (NBA, G League, ACC, A10, etc.) all the way down to elementary schoolers.

    Will graduated Cum Laude from St. Lawrence University with BA’s in Sociology and Business earning Conference All-Academic Team four years, NABC Honors Court and Sociology National Honors Society.

    Will brings playing experience at many different levels throughout his career including high school, prep school, division 1, and division 3. High school accomplishments include All NEPSAC AA honors, 1,000 point scorer, Top 10 in State, and multiple scholarship offers.

    His playing career culminated by winning the first Liberty League title for his school in over a decade. In the championship game Will led the team in scoring and rebounding with 17 pts and 10 reb. During his career he posted Top 15 seasons in the Liberty League in ppg, 3pt, 3pt%, fg%, ft, reb and stls.

ARYN McCLURE

Basketball Trainer

  • Aryn is a former star and 1,000-point scorer at Division I Quinnipiac University who led her team to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances, including a historic Sweet Sixteen run in 2017. After playing professionally in Ireland, where she earned a Master’s in International Business and worked with UNICEF, Aryn continued her journey in Costa Rica, playing professionally, fostering social impact initiatives, and helping student-athletes secure collegiate basketball scholarships. Now based in NYC, she builds bold, iconic campaigns while running Globally Known, a platform dedicated to helping athletes achieve their dreams.

Quran Dublin

Basketball Trainer

  • We're excited to announce that Quran, after playing the past two seasons in Germany for the Bargteheide Bees, is returning to Pro Hoops as a trainer. "Q" started with Pro Hoops 2010 and trained for 15 years before transitioning to a career in player development.

    Quran's collegiate career at Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) included being named CUNYAC Player of the Year and Conference Championship MVP in both his freshman (2017-2018) and sophomore (2018-2019) seasons, leading his team to conference titles. He was also voted second-team All-Region in 2018-2019 and named an NJCAA All-American in 2018-2019. He concluded his time at BMCC as the All-Time Leading Scorer, becoming the first player in school history to score 1,000 points.

    He earned a scholarship to the University of the District of Columbia (2019-2020) and played one season before returning home to York College for his final season in 2021-2022, where he was voted CUNYAC All-Star and second-team All-Region.

    Born in Harlem, New York, Quran graduated from Mott Hall High School in 2017 and degree in Business Administration from York College in December 2022.

PHILIP KIM

Director of Basketball Operations

  • Philip brings valuable NBA basketball operations experience to Pro Hoops. Most recently, he was on staff with the Stockton Kings – the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings. He is also in the NBA’s “Future Basketball Operations Stars” talent pipeline program.

    Originally from the Washington, DC metro area, Philip coached at national powerhouse Montrose Christian and also served as the Director of Scouting for Friendship Collegiate Academy. He has also coached and evaluated talent on Stephen Curry’s Underrated Tour.

    Philip earned his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland and his master’s degree in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University.

 

Aaliyah Lewis

Basketball Trainer

  • Lewis had a stellar career for the Johnnies from 2013-2017, appearing in 134 games, which ranks second all-time in program history. The 2017 BIG EAST Co-Defensive Player of the Year was a stellar point guard under Tartamella and an integral part of the BIG EAST Tournament Championship run in 2016.

    Aaliyah brings a wealth of experience to The Program NYC including playing professional basketball overseas, working on a Division I women's basketball staff, teaching high school physical education, working for successful AAU organizations, and running her own skill development academy.

Malik Dale

Basketball Trainer

  • We are excited to announce that Pro Hoops alumnus Malik Dale is returning to Pro Hoops as a Skill Development Trainer.

    Malik had a successful collegiate career, earning CUNYAC Second Team All-Star honors in 2024-25 at Brooklyn College. The Brooklyn native also has extensive experience assisting Pro Hoops trainers with NBA and international professionals throughout his high school and college years. Malik graduated with a degree in Business Management in the spring of 2025.

    "Malik was always hyper-focused on developing his skill set, and that enabled him to maximize his performance at the collegiate level," says Ross Burns.

    As a trainer, Malik will focus on fundamentals, game-speed repetitions, and decision-making, helping athletes sharpen their skills, build confidence, and translate their hard work directly into game situations.

DANTE CONLEY-LEONARDI

Social and Design Coordinator

  • Dante Conley-Leonardi is a recent graduate of Emory University, where he played varsity basketball. He has also worked for Rowing Blazers and SLAM Magazine.
