Launch Your Career in the Basketball Industry
Pro Hoops Pathways is a professional development program and internship opportunity that runs annually from April through September, giving participants hands-on experience in the business of basketball. Participants develop valuable career skills, build professional relationships, and explore career opportunities across the basketball industry.
Participants play an active role in the day-to-day operations of Pro Hoops, working directly with trainers, players, agents and other industry professionals. Through this experience, they gain practical knowledge, expand their professional networks and build a foundation for future career opportunities.

ELIGIBILITY
The Pathways program is open to boys and girls entering their senior year of high school through recent college graduates and young professionals. We welcome motivated individuals who are eager to learn, gain practical experience and build connections in the basketball industry.

Pathways Experience
Pathways interns will work primarily alongside our staff at the NBPA, Life Time Sky, and various gyms throughout Manhattan. They’ll also have opportunities to connect and collaborate with NBPA staff, sports agents, and professionals from a variety of media brands, gaining firsthand exposure to different careers across the basketball industry. While most take place in person, some specific projects may be completed remotely.

Scope of work
Assist with on-court basketball workouts and player development
Support off-court workout operations and logistics

Contribute to special projects and day-to-day initiatives across Pro Hoops
